Behind Dramatic Entrance Co - the story

 I am an 18 year old future cosmetology school student, former high school events intern for a Cleveland based 501 ©(3) non-profit organization, as well as  founder of Dramatic Entrance co. I originally started my brand in 2021 at just 13 years old under the name “Aunna Cosmetics”.  My passion for beauty has been there for as long as I can remember. From shopping for clearance makeup with my great grandmother, making homemade body scrubs in my childhood kitchen, or messing with my dolls hair as a child. So with that and being born a natural risk taker, wanting to open a brand at an early age wasn't a shocker. 

Stemming from a Christmas gift and put away birthday money, I slowly became very passionate and experimental with my then hobby. Starting with just a few lipgloss supplies at my kitchen table and selling to various extended family members. Within the first 6 months of business, I slowly branched out into body care products. And with trial and error, opening my first etsy account, launching in my first local store, and setting up at vendor markets with my mom. In the past 5 years I am beyond grateful enough to have grown into having my items in a total of 15+ northeast Ohio artisan stores and featured on 2 segments of the Fox 8 news show “New Day Cleveland”. Additionally, I opened my own website and attended over 50+ vendor markets across the state to showcase my work with various communities.

 In October of 2025 after graduating high school early, I decided to rebrand my business as “Dramatic Entrance Co". Originally being brainstormed as the name ‘Dramatic Exit” about a year before, the title comes from exit door signage as well as melodramatic phrases. I wanted a name and business that was memorable. A place where you can see growth, my shifting loves, the experiments, the failures, and the odd fascinations that make up who I am. Most importantly would allow me to be flexible with my creativity free from conformity to others thoughts, a living archive of what inspires me most.

I am extremely passionate about branding and spend lots of time creating products as well as market displays. I create them all solo and by hand. Utilizing mixed mediums to create a hand crafted nostalgic look that I absolutely adore. Everything I do is inspired by my love for the arts. I find the majority of my inspiration in assorted genres of cinema, photo zines, poetry, and music. I have a love and passion for physical media which also fuels my creativity for my brand stylization. 

Every single product is dreamt up and hand made by me, with some occasional help from my wonderful mother in Brunswick, Ohio. Using minimal plastic and natural ingredients where I can, with no harsh unneeded chemicals. I utilize soothing components like mango butter, as well as hempseed and sunflower oil to help calm irritated and inflamed skin. As well as I sell all body care items in glass bottles and encourage customers to reuse them when you are finished to minimize waste. 

My end goal is to open my own salon, continue growing my business and social media, while staying true to myself and exploring my love of the arts. Thank you so much for supporting my journey, it means more than you know!
